Story
Neo (Keanu Reeves), Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) and Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) fight to defend Zion and its inhabitants against the machines. Meanwhile, Neo must figure out how to save Trinity who gets fatally wounded in his dreams.

Review
Equally dazzling visually but less challenging intellectually is the second installment in The Matrix trilogy. The plotline might be weak, but the action is rewarding. There are numerous fight scenes with special effects (“upgraded” Neo has super hero powers), many thrilling chases (Trinity chase being my favorite), and of course romance.
Το ίδιο όμορφη αισθητικά αλλά λιγότερο ενδιαφέρουσα σεναριακά είναι η δεύτερη ταινία της τριλογίας The Matrix. Κι αν η πλοκή είναι αδύναμη, η περιπέτεια είναι χορταστική. Υπάρχουν πολλές σκηνές δράσης με ειδικά εφέ (ο «αναβαθμισμένος» Νίο έχει ιδιότητες υπερήρωα), αρκετές αγωνιώδεις καταδιώξεις (η καταδίωξη της Τρίνιτυ είναι η αγαπημένη μου) και φυσικά ρομάντσο.
